and live on Freeview channel 276
Wolverhampton Wanderers head back out on the road this weekend as they face Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon. Fresh off the back of a surprise 1-0 home win over Tottenham Hotspur, Julen Lopetegui’s side will be full of confidence as they travel north east. There are lots of injuries that could cause selection issues, however.
Diego Costa became the latest Wolves player to reach the treatment table as he went off on a stretcher during the win over Spurs. The former Chelsea striker jumped to challenge Oliver Skipp to the ball but fell awkwardly on his knee. Although a return date hasn’t been issued, he is bound to be ruled out for a few games at least.

Hide AdSasa Kalajdzic and Chiquinho are both still recovering from their serious knee ligament injuries and won’t be back any time soon. Pre-season looks like the most likely time for the pair to don the gold and black again. Boubacar Traore is a major doubt for Sunday but has recovered well following surgery on his groin.
Energetic winger Hwang Hee-chan is getting “closer and closer” according to Lopetegui, so we could see him back. Meanwhile, defensive regular Hugo Bueno is another to be ruled out. Last week, Lopetegui said of Bueno: “When you’re talking about a hamstring, it depends on each person. Maybe four weeks but we will see.”
Newcastle injury news ahead of Wolves clash
Sunday’s hosts have been boosted by the imminent return of central defender Fabian Schar, who is said to be ready having trained well this week. Similarly to Schar, key midfielder Bruno Guimaraes has been on the grass and should be fine to start despite having issues with his ankle against Manchester City.
The same might not be said for striker Alexander Isak, however, as Eddie Howe believes the Swede is not yet ready to play a full 90 minutes. Meanwhile, winter addition Harrison Ashby is still unavailable due to a hamstring strain and Joelinton is suspended after picking up a 10th yellow card of the season.
