Galatasaray are ‘in talks’ to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore and hope to get a deal done for the Spaniard before the Turkish window shuts this evening (September 8).

That’s according to Turkish news outlet Sporx who claim Cimbom are keen on bringing the pacey 26-year-old to Nef Stadyumu but are hoping to do so on a year-long loan deal.

The report states that talks with Galatasaray began in the middle of last week and that the Turkish giants offered Wolves a loan fee of around €2.7million.

That figure is said to be some way off what the gold and black are asking for with them hoping for a fee more in the region of €4million.

If the two are able to reach an agreement on a figure in the coming hours, Sporx do add that negotiations will ‘be accelerated’ with the hope of a deal getting done before the close of play.

After spending the second half of last season on loan with Barcelona, Traore has come back into the fold at Molineux in the opening stages of this.

The 26-year-old has made five appearances in all competitions and scored one goal - the incredible strike against Preston North End in the EFL Cup.
