James Morrison owns up for his part in West Brom penalty confusion against Burnley
There was some debate as to who would step up and take the Baggies’ penalty against Burnley on Sunday afternoon.
James Morrison owned up for his part in the confusion around Albion’s penalty against Burnley.
The Baggies sealed the deal in a fine 3-1 victory over the Clarets on Sunday as Isaac Price netted his second from 12 yards.
There was some debate between Price and striker Jimmy-Jay Morgan beforehand, however, over who would take responsibility from the penalty spot.

The latter initially had the ball and queried with boss Morrison before Price pulled rank and converted coolly. Morrison admitted he had forgotten to confirm his back-up takers in the absence of the suspended Aune Heggebo.
Morrison said: "Obviously JJ's a striker and he wants to score all the time - but it's probably on my behalf.
"We didn't name a penalty taker. It is Bo who is normally the penalty taker."
Heggebo missed the first of his controversial two-match suspension for the handball goal opener in the opening-day Championship win at Norwich.
The Norwegian will be his side’s first-choice penalty taker if on the field.
Morrison’s men impressed in their home opener and deservedly claimed three points despite Callum Styles’ early own goal.
Impressive youngster Harry Whitwell equalised with his first Championship goal before a classy Price strike from range shortly after the restart.
Whitwell was then clipped by the Clarets’ Bashir Humphreys for Price to bury a finish from 12 yards to extend Albion’s perfect start to the season.
Morrison afterwards challenged Northern Ireland star Price to repeat or go better than his nine-goal haul last season.
