James Morrison makes two West Brom changes for West Ham with striker call
James Morrison’s line-up for the clash at West Ham on Saturday has been confirmed.
Albion boss James Morrison has opted for two changes for his side’s clash at West Ham - including Jimmy-Jay Morgan over Aune Heggebo up front.
Morgan, who was this week credited the equaliser at Preston last weekend over Heggebo, will lead the line at the London Stadium.
He is in for Barney Stewart, who has dropped to the bench.
The Baggies’ other change in east London is Rabby Nzingoula in for Harry Whitwell, who is also a substitute.
There was suggestion Heggebo would make a return to the starting line-up after his impressive impact in recent games as a substitute.
He netted the winner at Wrexham and set up the late match-winner against Blackburn. It appeared Heggebo bagged the equaliser at Deepdale, but it was credited for Morgan, who has earned the nod in the capital.
Nzingoula will occupy the right-sided role for the Baggies, with Horn Myhre in support of the striker.
Irons skipper Jarrod Bowen starts after a slight injury concern earlier in the week, but there is no Konstantinos Mavrapanos, the goalscoring centre-back who is out injured.
Albion (4-4-1-1): O’Leary; Pereira, Mepham, Campbell (c), Styles; Nzingoula, Molumby, Diakite, Price; Horn Myhre; Morgan.
Subs: Ingram (gk), Townsend, Phillips, Crowther, Whitwell, Bany, Tunde, Stewart, Heggebo.
