Elsewhere in the Championship, Leeds United are looking to rebuild their squad after their best talents were raided by clubs in the Premier League. They have two targets in their sights - can they complete a deal?
West Brom target Uros Racic arrives in England
West Brom could soon announce the signing of 12 cap Serbian international Uros Racic - the Sassuolo midfielder has arrived in the Midlands and has reportedly been ‘shown around the training ground’. As such, it seems the Baggies’ efforts to bring him on board are now reaching their final stages.

Hide AdThis is according to a post on X (formerly Twitter) from TalkWBA, who wrote: “I can confirm that Uroš Račić has arrived in England and was shown around the training ground yesterday. The deal is expected to be completed very soon barring any last min change with an official announcement imminent.”
Last season, Racic made 23 appearances in all competitions for Sassuolo, scoring a single goal along the way. An adaptable player, he is capable of playing as both a central midfielder and in the holding role - furthermore, as 6ft 3, he also provides a formidable aerial presence in the middle of the park.
Leeds United identify alternative targets to Jonathan Rowe
Recently, Leeds missed out on the acquisition of Norwich City wide man Jonathan Rowe after he pursued a move to French giants Marseille instead - nevertheless, the Whites are now looking for different players in that position. Their need for attacking talents has been exacerbated this summer, following the departures of Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter.

Hide AdThis has proven to be an issue for Leeds, but they are not out of options. They have identified two new targets - the first of which is Stoke City’s Million Manhoef. He made 14 appearances for the Potters last season, scoring four goals and notching up a single assist after he was snapped up in the January transfer window.
Currently, Stoke will accept offers of no less than £10 million for the 22 year old’s services - they are hoping that this hefty price tag will ward off any potential suitors, as they do not want to lose him.
The other, as reported by TEAMtalk, is Burnley’s Manuel Benson. The Clarets may not be so keen on the idea of selling Benson, as they have already lost Wilson Odobert to Tottenham Hotspur - despite this, the player is ‘willing’ to leave the club. As things stand, it is unclear as to how much Burnley will require before they allow him to depart Turf Moor.
