Tony Mowbray makes controversial benching as Tom Fellows handed new role - West Brom predicted XI vs Hull City

West Brom return to The Hawthorns on Saturday to take on Championship strugglers Hull.
Tony Mowbray will be eager to extend Albion’s unbeaten streak to six matches with a positive result against the Tigers, who are 18th in the league standings. Hull have had a bit of a revival recently with three wins in their last four - moving away from the relegation zone as a result - but they’ve still not hit the heights many expected from them.

Mowbray opted for a change of formation at Turf Moor, preferring a back three. It’ll be interesting to see if West Brom shape up in the same system this weekend.
West Brom predicted lineup vs Hull City
Without further ado, here’s the XI we reckon Mowbray will name against the Tigers.
GK - Joe Wildsmith: Despite making a mistake against the Clarets, Wildsmith will probably continue his run of starts, as harsh as it may be on Josh Griffiths.

CB - Mason Holgate: The Everton loanee stepped into a right centre-back role in the absence of Darnell Furlong, who is suspended. A change to a back three was effective against Burnley.
CB: Kyle Bartley: Vital for his experience and aerial dominance in the heart of defence, Bartley is in contention to start after missing the Burnley clash through injury.
CB - Torbjorn Heggem: Nobody has made more tackles for West Brom this term than Heggem, who has been arguably the signing of the campaign so far.

CM - Ousmane Diakite: Arguably the man of the match last time out, Diakite was excellent at centre-back but could move into midifeld with Bartley returning.
CM - Alex Mowatt: A starter in all 10 of Mowbray’s 11 games to date, Mowatt is bound to continue his run in the heart of the team.
CAM - Isaac Price: The winter signing played at right wing-back at Turf Moor but could return to his usual number 10 role. It’s controversial to bench John Swift after his goal at Burnley but someone has to drop out to facilitate Diakite.

ST - Adam Armstrong: The Baggies’ deadline day signing from Southampton should prove pivotal in the race for a top-six finish. He’s scored twice in seven games so far.
