Here’s the top responses after another overwhelming response from you, the Hawthorns faithful.

Jeff Astle

An absolute club legend. He won the League Cup and the FA Cup during the mid 1960s.

Laurie Cunningham

A left-sided winger that joined when Johnny Giles was in charge. He played 86 times for the Baggies, and was later sold to Real Madrid in 1979 for just under £1m.

Tony Brown

There's a statue of Brown outside the Hawthorns. He was a wing half or an inside florward during his playing days, and made over 550 appearances for the Baggies from 1963 to 1980.

Jason Koumas

The 44-year-old was a real playmaker and took his opportunity when he got the chance to play for the Baggies in the Premier League. He had a big of tricks and was pretty decent from free-kicks too.

His son actually played and scored against West Brom earlier this season. Koumas Jnr is on loan at Stoke City from Liverpool, and like his dad, he plays for the Welsh national team.

Matheus Pereira

Another player that got West Brom fans off their seats. He had a loan spell at the Hawthorns in 2019/20, and then joined on a permanent basis. His return off 11 goals and six assists in 33 Premier League games caught the attention of Saudi Pro League side Ali Hilal and now he's playing for Cruzeiro. Imagine Pereira in this team today.

Cyrille Regis

Another club legend. Imagine Regis leading the line in this team. Regis was plucked from the non-league, and spent seven years as a Baggies players. He played 300 times for the Baggies in total, and scored an impressive 111 goals.

Len Millard

Torbjorn Heggem currently occupies the left-back berth, but there were some supporters who suggested Len Millard. He was a one club man, and captained the club to FA Cup success in the 1954 FA Cup final.

Peter Odemwingie

He came to England on the back of scoring sprees with Lille and Lokomotiv Moscow and he did not disappoint. The 43-year-old hit 31 goals in 90 games, including efforts against Wolves.

Derek Statham

Left-back Derek Statham began his career at West Brom and was at the club for 11 years. He made more than 300 appearances.

Kevin Phillips

He came to West Brom from West Midlands rivals Aston Villa, and helped the club win promotion. A great record of 46 goals in 81 games, scoring more than 20 goals in each season.

Bob Taylor

Striker Bob Taylor had two separate spells at West Brom, and his first went well. He hit an impressive 30 goals in the 1992/93 season, and he would go on to reach double figures in the next four years.

Bryan Robson

A player-turned-manager, who is highly thought of among supporters. The former midfielder started his career at the club, and played here for six years before joining Manchester United during a trophy-laden spell.

Clive Clark

The winger spent nine years of his career at West Brom, and made over 300 appearances with an impressive 80 goals.

Richard Sneekes

The 55-year-old Dutch midfielder came to England when he signed for Bolton Wanderers, but it is West Brom where he made his mark. He became a cult hero, and helped the club avoid relegation.

Andy Hunt

It's becoming a bit of a theme this with some looking in the striking department. Andy Hunt signed on loan in 1993, and scored nine goals in nine appearances. He did so well when he joined on loan that he signed on a permanent basis, and spent five years at the club, scoring 76 league goals for the club in 211 games.

Zoltan Gera

The Hungarian midfielder had two separate spells as a player at the Hawthorns. He joined from Ferencvaros in 2004 for a reported £1.5m, and despite a slow start to life at the club, he quickly gew into it. Gera left in 2008 for Fulham but then three years later he returned, before winding down his career at Ferencvaros.

Shane Long

He was a player at West Brom for two-and-a-half seasons, producing 22 goals in 87 games.

One of the few players that are still actively playing. Lukaku had a brilliant loan spell at West Brom in 2012/13 which saw him produce 17 goals in 35 league games.
