West Bromwich Albion take on yet another massive Championship outing on Saturday evening with a must-win game against fellow top-six chasers Norwich City. The Hawthorns crowd and players alike will be desperate to get three points on the board for the final home game of the season.
Reaching the play-off spots will either be mathematically impossible or extremely unlikely without a victory, so West Brom simply must perform at their absolute best. It’s the same situation for this weekend’s opponents as Norwich are one point below the Baggies as it stands.
Carlos Corberan’s side have lost each of their last two outings as Sheffield United ran out 2-0 victors at Bramall Lane last time out and Sunderland came from behind to win 2-1 the week before. The Canaries, meanwhile are without a victory in four matches and were thrashed 3-0 by Swansea City last Saturday.
West Brom’s injury problems have caused for a big drop-off at the end of the season but Corberan has to make do with what he’s got if there’s going to be any chance at play-off football whatsoever. Following a troublesome couple of outings going forward, we think the head coach will switch things up slightly. With that in mind, here’s our predicted XI.

2. GK - Alex Palmer
Has taken the goalkeeping spot back away from Josh Griffiths and it’ll likely stay that way until the end of the season.
3. RB - Darnell Furlong
His form has dropped off but there aren’t really any better options to go with at right-back. Can be very good on his day.
4. CB - Semi Ajayi
Was probably Albion’s best defender at Sheffield United with some key interventions. Stays in ahead of Kyle Bartley.
