Predicted Championship table: New twist in playoff race between West Brom, Sunderland and Millwall - gallery

Just a handful of games remain in the Championship, but who will finish in the play-offs between West Brom, Coventry City, Sunderland, Millwall and Blackburn?

It’s been an incredibly exciting Championship campaign but it’s not over yet as two or three games remain for all 24 clubs.

Not one side has been mathematically relegated just yet with seven teams at threat of finishing in the bottom three, while the play-off race is wide open.

Burnley have been promoted and Sheffield United look set for the second automatic spot, while Luton Town and Middlesbrough will finish fourth or higher.

But that leaves two more spots to fill and as it stands, just four points separate Coventry City in fifth and Swansea City all the way down in 12th.

The likes of Norwich City, Preston North End, West Bromwich Albion, Blackburn Rovers, Millwall and Sunderland all join them in the fight.

It may come down to the final kick of the season, but who is the most likely to finish in the play-off positions according to the data?

Based on the latest simulations by analysts FiveThirtyEight, here’s how the final Championship table will look - including the relegation and play-off fights.
