West Brom are on course to finish in the Championship top six thus competing in the end of season play-offs in May.

The Baggies are fifth as it stands with five games left in their campaign. A few teams around them such as Norwich City and Hull City have games in hand, whilst Southampton who are six points above them, have two games in hand, thus seven games left.

Carlos Corberan's men are on 69 points, two above Norwich and six above Coventry who are just outside of the play-offs. The gap then is eight over Middlesbrough and Hull City who are eighth and ninth respectively and nine ahead of Preston North End in 10th.

West Brom have drawn their last three games against Millwall, Watford and most recently Stoke City. Two of the three teams have been battling Championship survival whilst Watford have been managerless since sacking former West Brom boss Valerien Ismael.

Up next for West Brom is the already relegated Rotherham United and you'd expect them to get back to winning ways against a side that has performed poorly this term.

Football is a team game but it’s always nice to receive individual recognition. The nominees for the EFL awards were released and there was no individual nominations for either the managers or the players. The Team of the Season will be announced on the night, and there will be an anxious wait to see who makes the cut.
