New predicted Championship table forecasts finishes for West Brom, Ipswich Town, Leeds United, Leicester City and rivals

An updated final predicted table for the 2023/24 Sky Bet Championship season.

Recent results - including over the congested Easter weekend - have ramped up the tension in the Sky Bet Championship, with the title race, play-off battle and relegation fight all hotting up.

Leicester City are still at the summit but their downfall of losing their 12-plus-point lead has been sensational. All of a sudden, with six games to go, Leeds United and Ipswich Town are in with a genuine chance of becoming champions and rising to the Premier League.

That could make the play-offs all the more competitive, with Leicester perhaps dropping down. Southampton appear to be out of the automatic promotion fight but are very solid in the top six, while West Bromwich Albion are also comfortable.

The sixth spot is still very much up for grabs, though, with Norwich City, Coventry City and Hull City the main three in contest. Preston North End  and Middlesbrough shouldn’t be completely written off just yet, though.

Down to the foot of the standings and Rotherham United are nearing a guaranteed relegation but Sheffield Wednesday and Huddersfield Town have a decent chance of escaping the drop.

Plymouth Argyle and Birmingham City are fighting for their lives, whereas Millwall, Stoke City, Blackburn Rovers, Queens Park Rangers and Swansea City could still get dragged in.

With so much still to play for with five matches to go, supporters are bound to be discussing how the final table could look. But what are the likelihoods as it stands? Based on data from Sky Bet, here’s how the Championship standings are predicted to finalise.
