West Brom’s summer target David Selke, who is currently on the books of Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin, will reportedly be allowed to move on in January. Bild (via HITC Sport) claim his contract at the Olympiastadion could be terminated this winter.

Corberan is hoping for more of the same this weekend against QPR and has sent the following message from his Twitter account (see below):

Birmingham City

Birmingham boss John Eustace has hailed goalkeeper John Ruddy after he kept another clean sheet against Millwall. He told Birmingham Live: “John came to the rescue and made a terrific save. Apart from that I never felt in danger at all. I am sure they didn’t either.

“John has made two important saves in the last two matches. He has been great but it’s a collective. John gets paid to be a goalkeeper, he has made a couple of good saves, brilliant, it’s what I expect. I expect my strikers to score, I expect our midfielders to defend, that’s part of their job.

“John Ruddy has been a real valued member of the squad with his experience and his know how but so is Troy Deeney, so has Scott Hogan, so has Krystian Bielik.”

Sunderland have sold out their away allocation for their trip to St. Andrew’s next Friday. Their club website has announced they will be backed by over 2,200 fans.
