West Brom receive £10m offer from Premier League club as Southampton 'determined' to land attacker

The Baggies received the official approach from the Saints on Tuesday but rebuffed it immediately with Fellows’ valuation nowhere near to being reached.
The Telegraph reports Southampton, determined to add depth and quality in attack, saw a bid in the region of £10 million rejected. The Baggies, who believe Fellows has the potential to be a star player, won’t consider selling unless a far more significant bid lands.

West Brom are in no rush to sell Fellows as the hot prospect signed a three-and-a-half-year contract extension in January, keeping him at the club until June 2027. The academy product is understood to be on the radar of several Premier League clubs but he decided The Hawthorns was the best venue to continue his development.

At the time of his renewal, Fellows told the official club website: "I feel this is the right place for me to develop and keep improving as a player. For me, the big thing is having the opportunities to play and to keep doing well.
“I feel like I can keep getting minutes here and for someone my age, I think the only way you get better is by playing games and being around the senior environment. Hopefully I can keep doing that,” Fellows explained.
Called up to the England Under-20 squad on the back of his stellar form, Fellows has racked up 49 senior appearances for West Brom to date.
