West Brom team news
Summer signing Paddy McNair was not a part of the travelling contingent on Saturday. He is contending with a knee issue and like Grady Diangana who suffered a calf problem in July, they are now working together on a programme which will help cover for the lost time they had during pre-season. West Brom on their official club website said that McNair was available for selection prior to the QPR game.

Hide AdIn his pre-match press conference before QPR, Carlos Corberan said: "McNair started pre-season late, and he finished the season without the play-offs, so he had a more extended period off.
"When he started to work he felt something in the knee which made him stop. Similar to Grady, he will start 'pre-season' today with the group. McNair did two trainings with the club before. This is the situation.”
Daryl Dike is not in consideration after suffering a second successive Achilles injury in February. The 24-year-old is expected to be out until at least the end of the calendar year.

Hide AdClub captain Jed Wallace is nursing an injury that will have him out from between a fortnight to three weeks. He has a calf problem, and is likely to miss all of the opening month of the season.
Providing more clarity on the situation, Corberan said: “Wallace felt something in the calves, before we played last weekend. It's between 2-3 weeks, now we are one week from when he had the injury, so he's one or two weeks away from coming back to the group.”
Out: Daryl Dike, Grady Diangana and Jed Wallace. Doubt: Paddy McNair.

Doubt: James Bolton.
