Birmingham City drew 1-1 at home to Burnley yesterday. The Blues fell behind on 74 minutes but found an equaliser six minutes later through striker Scott Hogan.

West Brom, on the other hand, lost 2-0 at home to Bristol City on Tuesday evening. Here is a look at some of the latest news regarding both clubs...

Birmingham City

Derby County boss Paul Warne will hold talks with Birmingham loan man Krystian Bielik about his situation, as per a report by Derbyshire Live. The Poland international is currently on loan with the Midlands outfit but there have been some whispers of a potential recall this winter.

Ex-Blues winger Gary McSheffrey has been replaced by Danny Schofield at Doncaster Rovers. The League Two side have acted fast to appoint a new boss after deciding to make a managerial change earlier this week.

West Brom

West Brom are reportedly closing in on a new managerial appointment, as per the Express & Star. The Baggies could have a new boss in place for their game against Millwall this weekend. One man who has had an interview is ex-Huddersfield Town head coach Carlos Corberan.

Corberan guided the Terriers to the Championship play-off final last term. However, his side lost to Nottingham Forest in the final at Wembley.

Carlos Carvalhal is a new name that has been linked with the vacancy at the Hawthorns by Sky Sports. The former Sheffield Wednesday and Swansea City man is available at the moment after leaving Al Whada FC earlier this month.
