West Ham hijack possible as club 'requests information' to sign £40m Aston Villa star
West Ham will have to watch their backs as Aston Villa receive contact from a different club for Jhon Duran.
Al-Hilal have reportedly made an enquiry to sign Aston Villa star Jhon Duran, keen on hijacking West Ham United’s efforts to sign the promising striker.

Duran has been heavily linked with a move away from Villa Park this summer and it’s effectively become public knowledge that he wants to depart. Chelsea were the first team to conduct talks but they left the race, leaving West Ham the chance to swoop.
Negotiations are advanced between Villa and the Hammers over Duran’s future, with several bids already made. Monchi, Unai Emery and co decided to reject £30 million and £32 million offers - even with youngster Lewis Orford included as a sweetener - but an agreement is bound to be reached eventually.
That is, unless, Al-Hilal can complete an impressive hijack. Transfer news journalist Fabrizio Romano reports the Saudi Pro League outfit have “requested information” from Villa, adding Duran to a list of striker targets including Vitor Roque and several other under-21 players.

Supported by a huge financial backing, Al-Hilal are eager to add to their attacking ranks. Worldwide superstar Neymar, former Newcastle United striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, ex-Chelsea defender Kalidou Koulibaly and Lazio legend Sergej Milinkovic-Savic are among those already on their books.
