The Premier League fixtures have now been announced for the 2023/24 season, including the exciting opening weekend, traditional Boxing Day clashes and the tense final day.

Eight weeks remain until action gets underway on the weekend of August 11-14, but that hasn’t stopped broadcaster Sky Sports from making their decision early for which games to televise.

The same can be said for TNT Sports, the new, re-branded BT Sport channel as they have one fixture and Sky have five. But which games will be shown live on TV across the opening weekend?

Six matches out of the 10 have been chosen to be aired across the UK, including the fixtures for both West Midlands clubs, Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Friday, August 11, 20:00: Burnley vs Manchester City – Sky Sports.

Saturday, August 12, 12:30: Arsenal vs Nottingham Forest – TNT Sports.
