In the clip, Grealish was reflecting on his World Cup goal celebration last year. Grealish had promised Finlay, who like his sister Holly, has cerebral palsy, he would do a dance for him when he scores his next goal after he met the young boy who had written to him.

Grealish told Finlay he can select his next goal celebration and Finlay chose the worm but after negotiating Grealish agreed to do an easier dance. His next goal happened to be the one for England against Iran in the World Cup and the footballer kept his promise by dancing for Finlay.

Posting the caption to the video, Grealish also said meeting youngsters such as Finlay through his new role as ambassador at Special Olympics GB is what puts the biggest smile on his face.

The non-profit organisation is the largest provider of year-round sports training and competition in summer and winter sports for children and adults of all abilities with intellectual disabilities.

Grealish wrote: “It’s always been really important for me to use my platforms to raise awareness for cerebral palsy and other conditions that impact young people, and its something I’ll continue to do in the future in any way that I can. Shoutout to Abbie, Finlay and everyone at Special Olympics GB that I met this year. It’s been such an amazing year personally, but it’s you guys that put the biggest smile on my face.”

The former Aston Villa captain is preparing for the start of the new Premier League season with champions Manchester City. His side take on Burnley on Friday night (August 11) for the opening game of the new campaign. Grealish is once again expected to play a big role for Pep Guardiola’s side this year.

Ahead of the new season, Grealish was caught parking his £220,000 Lamborghini on a double yellow line during a night out with girlfriend Sasha Attwood. He was having dinner at The Ivy in Manchester. The Daily Mail reported that Grealish was confronted by three traffic wardens for the parking offence, but managed to avoid a parking fine.
