With the new season well underway, football fans across the Midlands will be returning to their favourite pubs before and after home games.
Birmingham City fans also have a number of pubs in the city centre and near St Andrew’s which are popular to drink in. And with new owners, there is much optimism about Blues for the first time in while, with supporters having good reason to get excited again.
It’s been a solid start to the new Champioship season for Blues.
With a new era at St Andrew’s underway following Tom Wagner and Knighthead Capital Management’s takeover of the club, John Eustace’s side remain unbeaten with three wins from their first five games.
Fans will be flocking to St Andrew’s this season with hope that Eustace’s squad can challenge in the top half of the table instead of the bottom for the first time in a long time. Prior to kick-off, Blues fans often gather in pubs for a pre-match drink, as well as after the game for a pint and a debrief.
