Birmingham City 'on the brink' of second Rangers transfer as medical underway
Dykes was in attendance at the St. Andrew's @ Knighthead Park for Birmingham City's 2-0 defeat to Fulham in the Carabao Cup. Manager Chris Davies was coy in his answer when asked about Dykes, but various outlets were saying that he was was closing on on a £1.5m move.
The transfer business won't stop there however with Davies wanting more recruits. According to the Scottish Sun, Blues are set to sign Scott Wright before Friday's transfer deadline. He would be the second signing of the summer window from Rangers after Ben Davies' arrival at the weekend.

Hide AdWright has already played at Andrew's this summer after netting for the Scottish Premiership side during their pre-season friendly with Birmingham in July. The Sun report that Birmingham plotted a 'late swoop' for Wright, and now it looks like he might have played his final game for the club with a permanent deal being pursued.
The Sun’s report is backed up by Football Insider who report that Wright is undergoing a medical ahead of the move after a bid was accepted. It will be the first time that the 27-year-old has played his club football outside of Scotland.
If Dykes and Wright are confirmed either today or tomorrow then that would take their business up to 15 signings in the window. Most of them have been permanent signings, whilst but this month, Luke Harris, Alfons Sampsted, Taylor Gardner-Hickman and Ben Davies have all joined on loan. Birmingham still look to be proactive in the transfer market with the window shutting on Friday, August 30 at 11.00 pm.
"We still need to do some business, absolutely, we're not there yet," responded manager Davies in his post-match press conference after Fulham when asked about the club’s remaining transfer business.
"We still need a little bit more - that's always been the plan, it's not changed in any way. That's just ongoing. Hopefully we can get that done."
