Birmingham City will be looking to make it three games unbeaten this evening as they take on Watford in the Championship. The Blues claimed their first win in a month last time out and will be brimming with confidence ahead of their trip south.

John Eustace’s side’s season looks set in stone as they sit ten points ahead of the relegation zone and another ten points from 10th place. However, they will be eager to end the campaign positively and could also dent the Hornets’ hopes of reaching the play-offs.

Blues

Eustace is hopeful that he will have Krystian Bielik available for selection after he was forced off against Rotherham after being on the end of a nasty kick to the head. Following the match, the Blues boss said: “He’s in a bad old way. Krys’ two front teeth got kicked out. He has gone to hospital.

“I think you could see for the first 25-30 minutes how vital he is for us in there. His performance at the start of the game was top and he has been missing for the last three or four games. Hopefully it’s not too bad and we can get him back for Tuesday.”

Meanwhile, Troy Deeney (hamstring) and Dion Sanderson (back) won’t have recovered from their respective injuries in time. Juninho Bacuna will serve his second match of a two-game suspension after picking up 10 yellow cards this season.
