Former English Football League footballer turned pundit and presenter David Prutton doesn't think that Birmingham City will beat Millwall this weekend.

Prutton played for the likes of nottingham Forest, Southampton, Leeds United and Sheffield Wednesday in a 16-year playing career. The 42-year-old now leads Sky Sports' coverage of the EFL as their lead presenter and offers an insight in to the Championship, a division he played in 195 times.

Each week he is tasked with the predicting the outcome of all 12 matches, and this weekend's match is under the spotlight. The two sides are close to each other in the table with a point and two places separating 18th-placed Millwall and Birmingham in 20th. Blues drew 1-1 in midweek but remain winless since Tony Mowbray took a leave of absence and was replaced by his right-hand man Mark Ve

He said in his Sky Sports column: "Millwall have picked up seven points in three games under Neil Harris. They probably made the change at the right time, because if they stayed on the same course they were on before they’d be buried in the bottom three right now.

"Birmingham might well be heading that way. They haven’t won any of their three games in Tony Mowbray’s absence from the dugout, and that will be a cause for concern. I think that could become four at The Den."

Prutton finished by suggesting that Millwall would continue their unbeaten streak under Neil Harris and win 2-1 in Saturday's clash in South London. The two sides drew 1-1 at St Andrew's back in September with Jay Stansfield equalising after Kevin Nisbet had opened the scoring when former Birmingham boss Gary Rowett was in charge.

Millwall have a fairly decent record against Birmingham City having lost just one of their last ten league game against them, keeping five clean sheets in the process. Birmingham won 1-0 in their last visit to The Den last season beating them courtesy of a Lukas Jutkiewicz goal. If Birmingham were to win at Millwall then the hosts would suffer their 10th defeat of the season, something of which they haven't done since 2014/15.

Birmingham's form on the road isn't the greatest having won just seven of their last outings. They are winless in four on the road with their last success being a 2-1 win over Stoke City in January.
