Birmingham City face a Sky Bet Championship six-pointer this Saturday as they travel away to Millwall at The Den in London.
Club legend Lukas Jutkiewicz rescued a heroic point away at play-off challengers Hull City on Tuesday night but there's still so much to do before Blues can feel any element of safety. Millwall, one point ahead in 18th, are in a similar situation and will be just as desperate to pick up maximum points this weekend.
There are several selection dilemmas for stand-in manager Mark Venus in all areas of the field as Birmingham are struggling to find any real consistency at the moment. Changes are likely in defence as Dion Sanderson's ban continues, while rotation can be expected in midfield and attack to freshen things up.
With that in mind, here are the 11 players we predict will start this weekend, as well as brief explanations for every inclusion.
1. GK: John Ruddy
If it wasn’t for Ruddy’s impressive shot-stopping, Blues would be conceding far more goals than they already are.
2. RB: Ethan Laird
Laird returned to his favoured right-back position against Southampton. It wasn’t the best performance defensively but he’s so often been one of Blues’ star men since signing.
3. CB: Marc Roberts
Roberts has had time to recover from his calf strain and he could come in to offer some experience and leadership at centre-half.
4. CB: Emanuel Aiwu
The Austrian has struggled for consistency this season but he’s done a decent job in the last couple of matches. He continues to start with Dion Sanderson suspended.
