Birmingham City have got off to a great start to the new Championship season as they currently sit in the playoff spots after two games played. Beating Huddersfield 2-0 at home last time out after drawing 0-0 away at Luton on the opening weekend, The Blues are in a great position for a strong campaign.

John Eustace’s side will be hoping to build momentum as they head to the Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday in what is likely to be a fairly even contest. Last season The Bluebirds finished just two places above Birmingham in 18th, with a six points gap between the two sides.

Cardiff have also started the current campaign in a similar fashion, as they too have won one of their two opening games. They did however lose 2-1 to Reading last weekend, whereas City are unbeaten as it stands.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of Cardiff vs Birmingham, including how to watch the game on TV, the kick-off time and the latest team news.

No further injury concerns arose from Birmingham’s trip to Norwich City and so it’s only Krystian Bielik, Gary Gardner and Nico Gordon who will miss the Championship clash, with all three making good progress in terms of recovery.

John Eustace will have near enough a full squad to select from as Blues look to overthrow Cardiff City on Saturday.
