A Bristol City supporter has been charged by police after an incident took place when a Birmingham City fan celebrated his team scoring a goal in the home end at Ashton Gate earlier this year.
Several supporters were ejected from the ground following the incident which apparently occurred when the Birmingham fan celebrated his team scoring while in the Dolman Stand. Footage captured on a mobile phone went viral on social media following the defeat for Bristol City on March 3.

Hide AdAvon and Somerset Police launched an investigation while Robins chief executive Richard Gould said CCTV would be used to identify those involved. Since then, police have charged a man over a public order offence.


Kelvin Winfield, 60, of Bickford Close in Barrs Court, will appear at Bristol Magistrates Court accused of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress inside the stadium on March 3.
He is due to appear before magistrates toda (19 Augus) from 2pm.
