Birmingham City FC owners Knighthead has confirmed its purchase of the former Wheels site in Bordesley Park which will become the new home of Blues

AI has created a series of images of how the new Birmingham City FC stadium could look once it is built at the former Wheels site in Bordesley Park in the east of the city.

The images have been released hours after Blues owners Knighthead confirmed its purchase of the 48 acre site which it says will be the new home for the historic city football club, including the ladies team. They have been supplied by No KYC Casinos.

The announcement was made alongside bold plans to develop the site into a global Sports Quarter with world class training facilities and community pitches along with other mixed-use real estate development including a range of entertainment options.

The new centre would see the creation of 3,000 local jobs which would significantly contribute to Birmingham’s GDP.
