Birmingham City are back in League One action when they host Stockport County at St Andrew's on Wednesday (December 4).
Blues defeated Blackpool 2-1 at Bloomfield Road in the FA Cup to progress to the third round. The Hatters were also victorious as they won 3-1 against non-league Brackley Town.

Hide AdWrexham play on Tuesday night and so Birmingham will know if they are able to overtake them with a win. Only Huddersfield Town can realistically overtake Stockport, and they take on Wigan Athletic, so there’s a possibility that they could drop down a place without even playing.

Birmingham City team news
Swedish winger Emil Hansson suffered a leg injury against Bolton Wanderers towards the end of October. Alfons Sampsted rolled his ankle whilst representing Iceland against Wales last month. Scott Wright hasn’t played since the start of October, but thankfully Birmingham have a plethora of attacking options.
Speaking to BirminghamLive, Chris Davies said: “Hansson will be back in training within weeks, Scott Wright the same and Sampsted the same, he'll be away for a few weeks as he picked up an injury on international duty.

Lee Buchanan has yet to play a competitive game for Birmingham this term. He suffered a calf injury in pre-season before having a setback, and now the job is to get some under-21s games under his belt as he builds up his match fitness to prepare for a return to the first-team.

Stockport County team news
Callum Camps returned to action towards the end of November after missing most of October and a large chunk of the next month. He played against Burton Albion as a substitute, then got a full 90 minutes against Brackley Town.

Hide AdTyler Onyango who is on loan from Everton is out for three months with a hamstring injury. Nick Powell is also out for three months with the same problem.
Michael Mellon was an unused substitute against Brackley, having not been played since October 26. Kyle Knoyle was ‘back on the grass’ as of November 6, but still hasn’t made a match day squad.
