In his role, Brady will oversee a variety of aspects of the club, including the sports science department to advise on health, nutrition, wellness and recovery systems.
Eustace was speaking ahead of Blues’ first game of the new season away to Swansea City this Saturday (August 5). Speaking to Sky Sports News about Brady’s arrival, Eustace said: “I found out this morning like everyone else, but it’s a real statement of intent from the football club.
“The owners said they wanted to make Birmingham City a global brand and to bring somebody in of that ilk, one of the most famous sportsmen in the world, is very exciting. I’m really looking forward to meeting and working with him.”
What has Brady said?
Brady, who hasn’t wasted any time in wearing the new Blues home shirt, has already spoken directly to supporters in a video posted across Birmingham’s social media channels.
