Wolves v Aston Villa injury news - as 3 players ruled out and 6 doubts - gallery

Early team news ahead of Wolves vs Aston Villa in the Premier League, including updates on Nelson Semedo, Boubacar Kamara and seven other players.

Wolverhampton Wanderers play host to Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon for the final Midlands derby of the season in the Premier League. Both sides come into the clash at Molineux on the back of defeats as Wolves were thrashed 6-0 at Brighton & Hove Albion, whereas Villa lost 1-0 at Manchester United.

Wanderers have won three successive home matches to nil but were shocked at the Amex Stadium last weekend. Premier League survival is by no means guaranteed for Julen Lopetegui’s side, especially after the recent points picked up by the likes of Leicester City and Everton.

The Villans, meanwhile, are battling with Brentford, Brighton, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool for a top-seven finish. The more fixtures already played means it’s fairly unlikely it will happen but it’s still possible, meaning Unai Emery’s team are full of motivation for Saturday’s game.

Wolves suffered a fresh injury blow in the loss at Brighton as Nelson Semedo went off with a knee problem. Villa, on the other hand, have a few key men who have been missing. With that in mind, we’ve put together a list of players from both teams who are either ruled out or doubtful for the weekend. See below as we do a run-through.
