Team news

Steven Gerrard will likely field an eleven similar to that that will take the field away at Bournemouth in one week’s time.

Carney Chukwuemeka could make an appearance after the youngster was ommited from Villa’s pre-season tour of Australia whilst John McGinn will likely lead the team out as captain for the first time after Tyrone Mings was stripped of the duty this week.

Head-to-head record
