Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Brighton & Hove Albion have reportedly been told by Leeds United that transfer target Crysencio Summerville isn't for sale this January, under any circumstances. The 22-year-old winger, who has recorded 12 goals and six assists in 23 Championship appearances this season, has gained nationwide attention.

Although Villa aren't particularly short of wingers, Unai Emery is said to be keen to add further competition with a potential Premier League title fight unfolding, as well as a likely lengthy campaign in the UEFA Europa Conference League. A potential departure for Jhon Duran could be on the cards, too, with the attacker allegedly on bad terms with Emery.

TEAMtalk claims Summerville won't be the man for Villa to sign this January, however, as the Netherlands U21 international is happy at Elland Road and Leeds are unwilling to sell. The report states Newcastle will have their interest rebuffed, too. Meanwhile, Alan Nixon has credited Brighton with an interest and Football Insider reports Leeds value Summerville at more than £25 million.

Meanwhile, door might be shut after Villa 'agreement'

The Villans reportedly agreed on an £8.7 million fee to sign Hellas Verona attacker Cyril Ngonge on Wednesday but the player himself is now said to have snubbed Emery's side. Italian outlet Tutto Hellas Verona reports Ngonge's preference is to stay in Italy, with Fiorentina and Juventus circling.
