Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Giovani Lo Celso, who has been linked with Aston Villa, could reportedly be sold by his current team in January. The Argentina international is currently on loan at Villarreal in La Liga and has been throughout the whole of 2022. However, Football Insider claim Spurs are ‘willing’ to sell him permanently in a couple of months time to free up some funds.

Manchester United boost

Manchester United have received a boost on the injury front ahead of their clash against Villa on Sunday. The Manchester Evening News has reported that attacker Anthony Martial, who spent time at Sevilla in the last campaign, has returned to full training following his spell on the sidelines. He has scored three goals so far this term and will be looking to hit the ground running again.

Former player considering international future
