The huge distance Aston Villa and Wolves fans will travel on away days compared to Premier League rivals in 22/23

Oh, we do love playing away!

The Premier League fixtures ahead of the 2022/23 campaign were released last week and that means many have already started planning them away days.

Aston Villa will be on the road to take on newly promoted Bournemouth in the season opener in one of the furthest trips of the season but it’s certainly better off getting it out of the way now rather than a cold Tuesday night in January.

Wolves on the other hand make the short trip to Yorkshire to take on Leeds United at Elland Road.

For Villa and Wolves fans in general, though, they are in a pretty decent spot when it comes to travelling away.

Being pretty much dead central in the West Midlands means no place is really too far, though, that doesn’t make the journey home feel any shorter after a defeat.

With that said, there are a lot of Premier League teams now based in London and taxiing to and from there every other week is not only going to rack up the milage but take a big chunk out of that bank account.

The things we do for football, eh?

But what exactly is the total mileage that Villa and Wolves fans will clock up over the course of the season compared to their divisional rivals?
