‘Nicknames’ - Aston Villa’s Matty Cash makes admission about Prince William following Villa Park visit

Prince William returned to Villa Park on Thursday night (October 5) to see his side’s 1-0 Europa Conference League win over HŠK Zrinjski Mostar.
It’s the first time he has been at Villa Park since April, when he watched Villa’s win over Nottingham Forest with Prince George in April.

And following the game on Thursday, Villa full-back Matty Cash revealed to The Telegraph that William even knows all of the players nicknames and he regularly ‘screams’ at the television while watching games at home when supporting Villa.
Prince William reportedly gave the Villa players a pep talk before the game and was seen celebrating after John McGinn’s winner.
After the game, Cash said of the Prince: “To be fair, we hear from him quite a bit because he comes to training.

Hide Ad“He’s just a really good guy. He speaks to us like normal guys and we treat him that way when he comes.” Cash revealed that William often speaks with Villa centre half Tyrone Mings, and he also said he “is a proper supporter who just likes to be out and around the lads.”
