Prince William was joined by a beaming Prince George in the stands as Aston Villa beat Nottingham Forest 2-0 on Saturday.

Prince William and Prince George were in the stands at Villa Park as Aston Villa made it four wins on the bounce against Nottingham Forest.

The future King of England is the highest-profile Villa supporter out there and is often seen following his side across the country.

Goals from Bertrand Traore and Ollie Watkins had the whole of Villa Park celebrating a 2-0 win on Saturday and the princes were also seen jumping up and down in celebration.

Prince William is far from a glory supporter though and has had to watch his side through his fingers at times over the years.

From having to swallow his pride to present Arsenal with FA Cup winners medals in 2015 to play-off final glory and last weekend's Nottingham Forest victory, here are 15 photos of Prince William cheering on Aston Villa in recent history.
