The Premier League is back this weekend, starting with Crystal Palace Vs Arsenal on Friday night.

Aston Villa’s first game of the 2022/23 campaign is away at newly promoted AFC Bournemouth on Saturday and they will be eager to start with a win.

Steven Gerrard has delved into the transfer market this summer to bring in full-back Ludwig Augustinsson on loan from Sevilla, defender Diego Carlos from Sevilla and midfielder Boubacar Kamara.

As well as Bournemouth, Villa have been joined in the top flight by Fulham and Nottingham Forest.

Manchester City won the title again last term ahead of Liverpool and the North West giants will no doubt be up there battling it out again, although teams like Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United will have to something to say about that.
