Premier League Player of the Month: Aston Villa star Jacob Ramsey shortlisted – list of nominees & how to vote
Aston Villa’s Jacob Ramsey is among the nominees for the September Premier League Player of the Month award.
Aston Villa midfielder Jacob Ramsey has been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award after some fine displays in September.
He is among a list of six up for the accolade which was won in August by free-scoring Manchester City striker Erling Haaland.
The 21-year-old, who is a boyhood fan of Villa, contributed a goal and an assist as Steven Gerrard’s side went unbeaten in September.
Ramsey earns his maiden nomination after scoring a winner against Southampton and setting up Leon Bailey’s equaliser at home to Man City.
There were of course only two games played in September due to the international break and postponements out of respect for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s death.
Here’s everything you need to know about the September Premier League Player of the Month, including the full list of nominees and how to vote.
