The 21/22 Premier League season may now be well behind us but clubs are still waiting to pocket some enormous fees from the division’s lucrative TV deals - Aston Villa included.
After a turbulent year at Villa Park, Steven Gerrard’s men finished the campaign 14th - a position which alone netted them just over £15million in prize money.
And whilst that isn’t half bad - that’s without all the added extras. So just how much more is expected to hit the club’s bank account?
Here, courtesy of finance expert Kieran Maguire, BirminghamWorld takes a look at how much the claret and blue are set to pocket from Premier League TV money - compared to their top-flight rivals.
Note: For the domestic broadcast deal, 50% of the sum is split evenly, 25% based on ‘facility’, i.e number of times the club is selected for live TV and 25% on final league position.
