The Villains need to bounce back after being eliminated from the Carabao Cup, and suffering a defeat to Spurs in the same week. Brugge on the other hand have won their last three games, defeating OH Leuven on Saturday.

Tuesday's results have seen Villa overtaken by Liverpool, Sporting, Monaco and Dortmund. If they are to get back to top spot then they must defeat Brugge by three or more goals. Here’s the latest injury and team news.
Aston Villa team news
Aston Villa will be without Matty Cash and Ross Barkley for this match. Cash came off injured against Spurs, and was replaced by Diego Carlos.
He’s not expected to be sidelined for a while, but he’s confirmed to miss out against Brugge, and will be a doubt against Liverpool. Cash is yet to make his Champions League debut after missing out through a hamstring injury in their previous matches.

Hide AdRoss Barkley has been sidelined for a couple of weeks. It was described as a small injury but Unai Emery, but it’s enough to rule him out this side of the international break.
"They aren’t with us Matty Cash and Ross Barkley, they both have small injuries," said Emery in his pre-match press conference.
Like Cash, Morgan Rogers came off against Spurs, but he's fit to play. He was spotted in training, and is among those who have travelled.
Out: Ross Barkley, and Morgan Rogers.
Club Brugge team news
Raphael Onyedika sits out of this match, as he is serving a suspension. He was shown a red card in the 40th minute in the 3-1 defeat to AC Milan at the San Siro.
