Aston Villa have started the Premier League season with three wins from their opening five games after enjoying a remarkable upturn in form since Unai Emery’s arrival last autumn.
The former Sevilla, Arsenal and Villalreal boss joined Villa on November 1 last year after the Birmingham outfit had won just two of their first 11 games under Steven Gerrard.
However, Emery oversaw a resurgence at Villa Park as his side finished seventh in the table to earn their place in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
