Aston Villa will be looking to make it three wins in a row under new manager Steven Gerrard when Manchester City visit Villa Park on Wednesday evening.

Gerrard revealed that Danny Ings will miss Wednesday evening’s game.

Trezeguet should be returning to under 23 action for some minutes over the next week and Morgan Sanson is edging closer to a potential start.

It’s looking a little worse for City who will definitely be without influential midfielder Kevin Du Bruyne who is out with coronavirus. Aymeric Laporte picked up his fifth yellow card of the season in the win against West Ham United and will serve a one match ban against Villa.
