Aston Villa hope to get up-and-running in the Premier League this weekend when they host Everton at Villa Park on Sunday.
Both teams suffered defeats on the opening weekend, with the Villains losing heavily to Newcastle United, meanwhile Fulham defeated the Toffees 1-0 at Goodison Park. Unai Emery is hoping to put last week's heavy loss behind him, and Sunday is the perfect opportunity for that in front of a passionate home crowd. He will however have to do that without the influential Tyrone Mings, who was stretchered off against the Magpies. He is amongst several players unavailable for this weekend and future games.
The week has been dominated by the transfer headlines of Nicolo Zaniolo and Marcos Acuna, who have both been strongly linked. The deadline for them to be registered is at 12.00 pm today, and it seems Zanolo is closer than Acuna, with some negotiations with Sevilla expected to take place before a move can be finalised. It is understood Zaniolo has undergone a medical, which has been confirmed by those at Galatasaray, but it seems perhaps unlikely he would make his debut against Everton.
Below is a comprehensive injury list of both Villa and Everton, explaining why players are out and in some cases when they will return.

1. Alex Moreno - out
Alex Moreno is nursing a hamstring injury which required surgery, and that means a later return date for him. He could return to training by the end of the month, with the first game back after the international break being the perfect time to bed him back in. | Getty Images Photo: Jan Kruger/Getty Images

2. Tim Iroegbunam - out
