Villa have now decided to let him ‘move on’ and he is wanted by Championship promotion hopefuls Burnley, according to a report by the Daily Mail.

They have started the campaign slowly and it is being reported that they are already scouting replacements for Gerrard.
Football Insider claim they are interested in Brighton and Hove Albion’s Graham Potter, as well as former Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino.

The club has been linked with West Ham defender Craig Dawson recently as they continue to leak goals in the league.
