£56.5m pair 'surely' return as Unai Emery makes two changes - Aston Villa predicted XI vs Liverpool
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
Aston Villa bid to end a three game winless run when they travel to league leaders Liverpool in the Premier League on Saturday (November 9) evening.
The Villains lost 1-0 to Club Brugge on Wednesday, which added to the defeats to Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup, and the loss to Spurs last Sunday. It's as tough as they come for Villa, as they face a Reds side who hold a two-point lead over Manchester City. Arne Slot's men ran out 4-0 winners against Bayer Leverkusen at Anfield, and so they will be full of confidence.

Hide AdVilla’s defeat to Brugge will have consequences as Unai Emery will change his team round again to try and rediscover a winning formula. Not since May 2023 have Villa lost consecutive Premier League games, and so Villa will be bidding to avoid that.
Aston Villa predicted XI vs Liverpool
With everything considered here’s the Villa lineup we reckon will be named at Anfield
It’s a given that Martinez will start every Premier League and Champions League game that Villa play.
RB: Ezri Konsa
It’s not an ideal situation, but Konsa might have to go at right-back, instead of centre back. Kosta Nedeljkovic is an option, and he did come on as a substitute, but he’s only made three Premier League appearances, and they’ve all been off the bench.
CB: Pau Torres

CB: Diego Carlos
Started on Wednesday but made way for Kosta Nedeljkovic.
LB: Lucas Digne
Didn't play against Brugge on Wednesday with Ian Maatsen preferred. Digne will surely come back in.
RM: Leon Bailey
Played the entirety of the game against Brugge. His pace when Villa try and counter attack Liverpool will be important.
CM: Youri Tielemans
Been one of Villa’s best performing players this season. Expect him to get the nod.
CM: Boubacar Kamara

LM: Morgan Rogers
Moved to the left in midweek, whereas usually he’s been played behind Watkins. It’ll be between him, Jaden Philogene, and Jacob Ramsey for that starting spot.
CAM: John McGinn
McGinn is a versatile midfielder and on Wednesday he started behind Watkins. He’s not afraid to go deep and help out with the defensive side of things. Liverpool are going to attack Villa, and so McGinn can be an extra body.
ST: Ollie Watkins
Gone three games without a goal. After being called up to the England squad in the week, he'd like to get a goal so he can play his way in to Lee Carsley's plans.
