Aston Villa played out an entertaining 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace at Villa Park on Sunday afternoon.
A goal from Ollie Watkins midway through the second-half looked to be enough to hand Villa all three points but Palace substitute Jeffrey Schlupp levelled things up with 10 to go.
It was a mixed bag of performances from those in the claret and blue but maybe the most disappointing outcome of all was the injury suffered to Ezri Konsa, with Steven Gerrard confirming that it’s “highly unlikely” the defender will play again this season.
Here’s our player ratings from a hard-fought afternoon at Villa Park.

Crystal Palace (4-2-3-1): Butland; Clyne, Andersen, Guehi, Mitchell; Kouyate, Milivojevic (78’ Benteke); Zaha, Gallagher, Eze (78’ Schlupp); Mateta (71’ Edouard)

1. Emiliano Martinez - 7
Pulled off a couple of good saves, the one in the first-half from Clyne in particular. | Getty Images

2. Matty Cash - 6
Quiet from Cash though he should have had an assist to his name. A fizzing ball across the box midway through the second-half just needed any touch for a goal but he had no teammate on the end of it. | Getty Images

3. Tyrone Mings - 5
After an early tackle which saw him booked for stopping a breakaway, he settled down but another iffy performance. | Getty Images

4. Ezri Konsa - 6
Hadn’t really put a foot wrong up until his injury. Looked a nasty one but fingers crossed for Konsa that it was worse than it seemed. | Getty Images
