Aston Villa’s final home game of the 2021/22 Premier League camapign ended all square as they drew 1-1 with relegation threatened Burnley.
Ashley Barnes gave the visitors the lead with a penalty right on the stroke of half-time before Emiliano Buendia levelled things up with an expertly taken finish right after the break.
Villa pushed for a winner and would have found one had it not been for some expert shot-stopping from Clarets goalkeeper, Tom Pope.
Here’s our player ratings as we bow out from another season at Villa Park...

9. Carney Chukwuemeka - 5
Didn’t do too much to impress or show that he’s worthy of a new contract. Don’t want to be too critical of the young player though as nobody was great in the first 45. | Getty Images

10. Ollie Watkins - 6
A quiet night for Watkins after some excellent recent goalscoring form. | Getty Images

11. Emi Buendia - 7
Had a tough first half giving away a penalty right towards the end but came back firing in the second-half. His goal was superbly taken. | Getty Images

12. SUB Bertrand Traore - 6
A man that has seen far too few minutes this season due to injury. It was evident with a couple of rusty moments but has clear quality on the ball. | Getty Images
