Aston Villa player ratings vs Burnley: McGinn masterclass has Scot leading scoring in final game at Villa Park

A dominant display from Villa who yet again failed to capitalise on all their pressure.

Aston Villa’s final home game of the 2021/22 Premier League camapign ended all square as they drew 1-1 with relegation threatened Burnley.

Ashley Barnes gave the visitors the lead with a penalty right on the stroke of half-time before Emiliano Buendia levelled things up with an expertly taken finish right after the break.

Villa pushed for a winner and would have found one had it not been for some expert shot-stopping from Clarets goalkeeper, Tom Pope.
