Aston Villa legend Peter Withe has tipped Cameron Archer for a ‘great future’ at the club.

The attacker was a hit out on loan in the Championship last term at Preston North End.

Speaking to Birmingham Live, Withe has delivered his verdict on the youngster:

“He’s got a great future at the club and if he continues at the way he’s going at the moment, it’s a brilliant future. I think, as we know, we’ve produced players in the past, the likes of Cowans, the likes of Shaw, and these types of players, we’ve always been renowned for that.”
