Aston Villa have confirmed that a number of supporters on the club’s waiting list will now be offered an opportunity to secure a season ticket for the 2022/23 Premier League season.

The club said it has seen existing season ticket holders renew in extremely high numbers ahead of the forthcoming campaign.

The club will start contacting those supporters via email.

A statement from Villa, read: “Please ensure your email address and preferences are up-to-date and keep a close eye on your account for the latest ticketing news.

“The first group of supporters eligible for a 2022/23 season ticket will have from 12noon on Monday, June 20 until 12noon on Thursday, June 23 to purchase their ticket.

“Those on the waiting list have the time and date recorded when they join to ensure there is a controlled order of priority in which tickets are released.

Supporters will not be prioritised within each tranche, but the number of season tickets available will approximately correlate to the number of fans invited to purchase.

“Please note, if you entered the waiting list with multiple Fan IDs then, if successful, you will receive a separate email for each Fan ID.

“Only the named individual on the waiting list to whom the email has been sent may purchase the season ticket and the offer is not transferable to any other person.”
