'Very good' Aston Villa injury update with triple boost ahead of Wolves clash

Unai Emery has revealed that Boubacar Kamara and Tyrone Mings are joined in training with their Aston Villa teammates this week as the pair bid to make a return from injury.
Both players suffered knee injuries at different points of last season, but could come in to contention in the coming weeks, in will provide a welcomed headache for Emery, who will have quality to choose from.

Kamara suffered a ‘serious knee injury’ against Manchester United back in February, and that forced him to miss out on a place in France’s EURO 2024 squad. The 24-year-old played 30 games across all competitions last season, and will be tasked with displacing Amadou Onana or Youri Tielemans when he’s back fit.
In his pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday’s game with Wolves, Emery said to the official club website: "Kamara and Mings are training every day now consistently with the team, they started this week.
"It’s very good news.”
The Spaniard also played down any injury fears about Ollie Watkins. Watkins had to withdraw from international duty earlier this month but netted a brace against Everton. He made way for Jhon Duran just after the hour mark and could be seen with ice strapped to his ankle, but he's able to get through that.
“He’s available 100 per cent to play,” said Emery.

“He is, of course, sometimes stopping because you have to protect the players. But now he is completely 100 per cent.
“He’s now available tomorrow 100 per cent to play.”
Villa will be without summer signing Jaden Philogene however, after missing out against Young Boys. He made a substitute appearance against Everton, but has been ruled out of Saturday’s game.
